Transportation

Please note that each insurance plan is different when it comes to scheduling medical transportation. Some insurance companies require at least 48 hours in advance notice to schedule a transportation, however other companies require at least 72 hours notice. There are also exceptions based on medical necessity based on each plan. Please confirm with your insurance transportation provider to make sure that your medical transportation is scheduled with the guidelines. If your transportation indicates that you do not have medical transportation, please contact member services on the back of your medical card to confirm that you have medical transportation as a benefit.
