About Jeffrey Siegel, DPM, FACFASmale
Dr. Siegel completed his undergraduate training at the University of California, San Diego, in La Jolla CA, after spending four years as a hospital corpsman and paramedic in the United States Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with minors in psychology and organic chemistry. After graduating with top honors from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, he completed an internship and a foot and ankle surgical residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Department of Orthopedics, in Santa Clara, CA. Dr. Siegel acquired advanced training in both pediatric and adult reconstructive surgery, foot and ankle trauma, total ankle replacements, complex diabetic wounds, and limb salvage. Additionally, he completed a short fellowship at the Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics in Kurgan, Russia.
Dr. Siegel has held numerous academic appointments including Stanford University, University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, the California College and Temple University colleges of Podiatric Medicine. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics and the American Board of Wound Care Professionals. Dr. Siegel is among a small group of podiatric physicians to earn board certifications in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery, Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. He was in private practice 30 years before accepting a position at MCR Health Services.
Dr. Siegel is a co-founder of “Sole Mission,” a 501c3 non-profit organization traveling to Nicaragua since 2008, performing life-altering reconstructive surgery on adults and children. He is married with four grown children and one gorgeous granddaughter. His hobbies include fishing and gourmet cooking. However, his biggest passion is bodybuilding and promoting a healthy mental, physical, and spiritual lifestyle.
