If yes – then come join us at MCR Health where you will be our new Dental Office Manager. This role combines dental knowledge with administrative and office coordination skills. The Dental Office Manager is responsible for front office operations & workflow for the dental site including: patient flow, patient experience, treatment plan explanation, and coordination between other specialties.
As part of this role, you will:
- Work in conjunction with the Dentist(s) and staff to supervise and be responsible for patient flow within the site
- Oversee, supervise, schedule and evaluate dental office staff
- Support and ensure the patient experience through office flow, surveys, patient interactions, and by utilizing the MCR Customer Service vision
What you need to bring to this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required or 5 years’ commensurate experience in lieu of degree (in addition to the Office Manager experience noted below)
- 5+ years’ experience in dental office management and staff scheduling required
- Expanded Functional Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification preferred
- Certified Dental Office Manager (e.g. AADOM) or similar certification preferred
- 1+ years’ experience with ADA coding preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, projects, and demands
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively with others
- Customer service focus to positively impact the patient experience
- Ability to connect with patients and help them feel at ease
- Radiology certification a plus
- Experience with dental EMR systems a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
