As part of this role, you will:

  • Oversee IT related projects, project flows and planning.
  • Provide direct supervision for staff, communicating clear expectations. Engage in career development discussions and ensures adequate training resources are available.

  • Establish and align unit/project deliverables and priorities within the department’s overall strategies plans.
  • Document, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
  • Provide “on-call” support to customers and internal groups
  • Provide problem solving/troubleshooting technical problems associated with installation of PC and Networking equipment
  • Possess strong time management skills with the ability to properly prioritize, manage and complete simultaneous tasks with frequent interruptions while paying close attention to the details.

What you need to bring to this role:

  • Associate’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant technical experience, Bachelor’s degree desired
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading and/or managing a help desk/desktop support team.
  • Desktop management and trouble shooting in a windows domain.
  • Operating System: Window 7, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, Vista, Linux, Window 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server.
  • Client application Software: Microsoft Office 2000, XP Office, Telnet, Citrix Client, Outlook.
  • Networking: TCP/IP on LAN/WAN environment, Cisco VPN Client, etc.
