Are you an experienced RN for an internal medicine practice that also supports cardiology patients? Would you like to take that experience and specialize further? As part of this role, you will:

  • Triage & document patients’ complaints and history before they see their physician
  • Perform EKGs and administer medications as ordered
  • Collaborate with the clinical care team to assess, plan, and implement the patient care plan
  • Educate patients based on physician or nursing provided instructions
  • Provide clinical support to one of our cardiologists as he moves between our Bradenton and Sarasota offices

Locations include: Bradenton and Sarasota, FL

Signing Bonus: $2,000.00

What you need to bring to this role:

· Current RN license in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing required

· Current CPR certification required

· 3+ years’ experience as a Registered Nurse required

· 1+ years’ clinical cardiology experience preferred

· IV Certification preferred

· Valid driver license required with the ability to move between sites as scheduled

· Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

· Ability to effectively interact with customers in stressful situations

· Must be flexible, resourceful and able to troubleshoot

· Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities

· Pride in the job you do and the image you present to our patients & visitors

· A positive can-do attitude ( grumpy people need not apply)

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
